As our lane is a traditional, narrow village road, we find it’s easiest to reverse out when you’re ready to head off for the day. If you are visiting with a larger vehicle or a second car, there is plenty of free, easy parking just a short, pleasant stroll away on Framlingham Road. Victorian Character To preserve the original 19th-century architecture, the staircase to the two Super King suites is characteristically steep and narrow. While this adds to the historic charm of the home, we recommend that guests with limited mobility take advantage of our cosy ground-floor ensuite, which offers effortless, level access. A Haven for Dogs & Horses We love welcoming furry friends! Dogs can roam safely in our securely enclosed front garden. The rear garden borders a tranquil neighboring paddock; we kindly ask that this remains a quiet space to respect the local horses and the gentle "village pace" of our neighbors. For cyclists, the local lanes are safe and peaceful, winding through fields and hedgerows. If you're feeling adventurous, bring bikes to explore quiet Suffolk roads and tracks — there are plenty of gentle routes to choose from. Train stations are nearby at Wickham Market (Campsea Ashe) and Saxmundham, both connecting to London Liverpool Street via Ipswich. Taxis are available from Framlingham or Wickham Market, but pre-booking is advised as rural services can be limited. Once here, everything slows to walking pace — the playground, Easton Farm Park, and the surrounding footpaths are all reachable on foot.
